Haydee Grunwald was a resident of 6 Bent Lane, Prestwick, England when she married Ludwig Kloo in October 1906. The marriage record gives her occupation as "musician, harp", and states that she was the daughter of Leopold Grunwald, "deceased, draper". In 1923, as "Haydee Gruenwald", she gave a concert in Norway. She later married a second husband, Mr. Schmidt, and moved to Dresden, Germany. On 15 December 1942, Haydee Schmidt was deported to Auschwitz. According to available records, she perished at Auschwitz on 31 March 1943, age 58 years.
