About Henri Hinrichsen
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_Hinrichsen
Henri was born in Hamburg on 5 Feb., 1868, son of Robert and Betty Abraham Hinrichsen. As a young man in Leipzig he joined the music publishing firm, C.F. Peters, which was headed by his uncle, Max Abraham. Henri devoted his life to advancing the music publishing business and to supporting composers, their families, and promoting the culture of his time. He married Martha Bendix on 3 Jun, 1898, and they had seven children. Despite his selfless contribution to German culture, his business was "Aryanized" and the family were stripped of all their possessions. Henri and Martha managed to emigrate to Brussels, from where he was deported to Auschwitz around Aug., 1942, perishing in the gas chamber.
