About Henrik Stråhlman

From Germany to Viborg moved commercial traveller Heinrich Strahlmann married there Anna Påvelsdotter Juusten, the daughter of the bishop Paulus Juusten and he is ancestor of the great family Stråhlman. This family is represented in the clergy of East Finland and Ingermanland and their member have oft worked as soldiers and doctors.

Henrik Strahlmann was a German merchant in Viipuri. He was first mentioned there in 1579. In ca. 1580 he married Anna Pavelsdotter Juusten, the daughter of bishop Paavali Juusten and Anna Sigfridsdotter Karstila.
In 1592 Anna was widowed when Henrik Strahlmann died. In 1595 she married Hans Cröell, who died in 1627. After this date Anna lived as a wealthy widow on the Juustila estate in Viipuri until her death in 1642.
