Henry Baldwin, son of Richard Baldwin, was heir to the Manor at Aston-Clinton, which is in the Hundred of Aylesbury and Deanery of Wendover, four miles from Aylesbury east on the road from London through Tring. Dundridge and the Chapel farm of the Baldwins were in that part of Aston-Clinton called St. Leonards. Dundridge remained in the Baldwin family until 1748 when it was sold by the heir of J. M. Baldwin, Esq, to Edward Darrell, Esq. Henry Baldwin married Alice King and had eight children, four sons and four daughters. His will, dated January 2, 1599, mentions his children as follows : Agnes ; Jane, married James Bonus ; Mary, married Richard Salter; Richard, who inherited the

Manor; John; Robert; and Sylvester (see forward).

Puke (Pooke). Henry married Alice King, daughter of Mr. (?) King, circa 1566 at Buckinghamshire, England. He and Alice were blessed with 7 children. Henry became owner in fee of Dundridge in 1578 - this granting him the title "Lord of the Manor". Prior to this time. the family were tenents not owners. Henry made his will on 2 January 1599 at Dundridge Manor in the Parish of Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, England.

The son of RICHARD and ELLEN (APUKE/POOKE) BALDWIN, he was born on lands belonging to the Manor of Dundridge in the parish of Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire, England. In 1552/3 he was executor of the will of his father, owner of the Manor of Dundridge. It was passed to Henry from his father and from Henry to his son Richard and stayed in the family until 1748 when it was sold by the heir of J.M. Baldwin. Henry Baldwin appears as a defendant in a court case involving a leasehold.
He married Alice King/Kinge/Kingham.Kingym about 1555. Henry Baldwin of Dundridge, in the parish of Astin Clinton, Bucks, England, made his will 2 Jan. 1599/1600. It was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury July 2, 1602. He was buried in the churchyard at Aston Clinton on June 1, 1602. He mentions in his will sons, Richard, Sylvester, John & Robert; daughter Agnes; Robert Baldwin "my late servant"; his sister, Lettice Foster; Thomas King; Richard Salter; brother: John Baldwin. Son, Richard, inherited the Manor of Dundridge at Aston Clinton.
