Henry Hatheway [Convict "Alexander" 1788]

Henry HATHEWAY (aka HATHAWAY) was born 1762 Gloucestershire, England (baptised 3/171762 at Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England, son of Henry HATHEWAY and Hester ?)

Henry was convicted of assault and highway robbery and was sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Alexander"

Henry was sent to Norfolk Island

Henry married Eleanor WATSON and they had the following children

• Mary Ann

Henry and Eleanor moved from Norfolk Island to Van Diemans Land on "Lady Nelson" on 4/2/1808

Henry died 3/9/1820 at Hobart, Van Diemens Land
