Henry Jackson Hege

Henry Jackson Hege was the son of Valentine Hege (1769-1852) and his second (or third?) wife, Sarah "Sally" Michael (c1813-???).

Henry married Malinda Josephine Walser (1860-1950) on 23 Dec 1879 at Davidson County, North Carolina. Henry and Malinda were the parents of seven known children, namely:

1. John A. Hege (1882-1882)
2. infant son Hege (1883-1883)
3. Arthur Cletus Hege (1884-1965)
4. Thomas Walter Hege (1886-1962)
5. Royal Webster "Webb" Hege (1889-1983)
6. Fred Henry Hege (1892-1976)
7. Sarah "Sadie" E. Hege Everhart (1895-1985)

After Henry died, Malinda remarried to E. T. Mize. In 1900 Malinda said she was the mother of seven children, five living which agrees with the above listing.
