Henry Kring

Henry G. Kring was born May 13, 1862, in Nappanee, Indiana. The son of George and Eyva (Joseph) Kring, of Kosciusko County, Ind. On Oct. 19, 1882, in Elkhart, Ind. Henry Married Lean Bechtel, Born December 7, 1859, in Canada, died Jan.21, 1917, in Carlisle AR. The Kring's were the owner and operator of the Kring Hotel, in Carlisle. They were members of The Seventh Day Advent Church, in later years they were converted to Southern Baptist.

With the union of Henry and Lean, the were blessed with six children; Melvin D. (1883-1952) Ethel B. (1889-1969) Roberta M. (1895-1970) Roy H. (1896-1905) Ira J. (1900-1900)

In the fall of 1939, Henry fell ill, a week later, he died, and doctors blamed his death on the fever.
