About Henry Newkirk
He settled first in Washington County, Pennsylvania where he held a certifificate for 400 acres on Pigeon Creek, called The Legacy, survyed to him Feb 25, 1786, and which adjoined his brother Isaac's lands, Agriculture.
He later conveyd The Legacy to his brother Abraham and removed after 1812 to Beaver County.
