Obituary - Augusta Chronicle 2/5/82 - Henry G. Sammons

Henry Grady Sammons, 83, 1916 Fenwick St., died Thursday in a Richmond County

hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Elliott SonsFuneral Home, Telfair

Street. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.

Mr.Sammons was a native of Glascock County, but lived in Augusta for a

number ofyears. He was a retired civil service employee at Lenwood Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie Lou Hilson Sammons, two sons, Ben C.

Sammons, Augusta, and Jack Sammons, Titusville, Fla.; and a daughter, Mildred

Bradshaw, Augusta.
