Wheeler

"The Wheelers of Cranfield in Bedfordshire are beyond numerous, abundant with Johns and Thomases, and therefore unresolvedly confusing. The name in the area dates to Henry VIII and 1522, but the earliest entry in the surviving parish record is 1601. Several of the family came to Massachusetts in the mid-17th century. Several gained a name for themselves by arguing with Indians. It was Obadiah II, though, who married the granddaughter of Resolved White, who arrived on the Mayflower at age 5."
