Henry WRIGHT was born c1757

Henry married Ann ? on 20/10/1786 at Portsea, England and they had the following children

• Mary Ann baptised 19/8/1787

Henry was a Marine is the 51st (Plymouth) Company and he left England on "Sirius" but was transferred to "Prince of Wales" and arrived in Sydney Cove on "Prince of Wales" on 26/1/1788. His wife Ann and daughter Mary Ann accompanied him

On 10/9/1789 Henry was found guilty of the rape of Elizabeth CHAPMAN aged 8 and he was sentenced to transportation for life at Norfolk Island. His wife and daughter did not accompany him.

Henry was sent to Norfolk Island on "Supply" arriving 3/12/1789

On 18/6/1791 Henry was convicted of "attempting to deflour" Elizabeth GREGORY aged 10

Henry received a colonial pardon on 17/10/1795

In March 1804, Henry again was convicted of a violent assault upon an infant

Henry left Norfolk Island on "Endeavor" on 19/11/1808 for Sydney arriving 29/12/1808

Henry had a relationship with Mary DAILY and they had the following children

• Henry 1810 (died 1812)
• Ann 1812
• child before October 1814

Henry had a relationship with Mary SWAIN

Henry died 1/8/1837 aged 80
