About Herman Thomas Sanford
Herman Thomas Sanford, 87, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born May 4, 1932, in Spartanburg, son of the late William Fairdee Sanford and Bessie Lee Pruitt Sanford; widower of Nancy Sanford.
A former employee of Union Camp Bag Corporation and a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Emily Jane Sanford of Inman, Beth Combs (Bryan) of Nashville, TN; sons, William E. Sanford (Anita Kay) of Lyman, Michael L. Sanford (Ruby) of Spartanburg; sister, Sarah Griffin of Fingerville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2019, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
A Graveside Service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating.
