Hiram Sexton, Sr.

Some list him as Benjamin Hiram

Hiram Sexton with his parents moved into the hills of western North Carolina from Virginia where the first of them had settled.

Hiram was in Greene County, Tenn. during the 1830 census. Several of his brothers and his parents moved to Tenn. by 1840.

Hiram later moved to Cocke County, Tenn. and then back to Madison County, N.C. where he married a second time, and is buried.
