Edward was a very accomplished man.
He was Luneberg Town Treasurer, Selectman, on the School Committee,Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, Major in the Malitia. Deacon of the Church, Original proprietor of lot # 37 Luneberg, was a very fine penman, and wrote the original deed of every lot of land in the town, which then included the whole of present city of Fitchberg, a large portion of Ashby, and part of Townsend.
For a long period of time was deservedly one of the most influential men in town. He possessed a strong mind and an education superior to that of most of his fellow townsmen. He was continually called upon to fill the most important offices in town.
He lived with his wife Mary in Lancaster, Mass.,then Lunenburg. He was a soldier, a justice of the peace, and a judge 1750-62. (unknown source)
