1. En 1911, Macario ADRIATICO, literato y, luego, político filipino, fue nombrado el primer correspondiente filipino de la Real Academia Española de la Lengua de Madrid.

2. En 1915, el poeta y ensayista Filipino, Tirso de Irrureta Goyena fue nombrado como otro correspondiente Filipino de la RAE de Madrid.

3. En 25 julio 1924, se incorpora legalmente la Academia Filipina, correspondiente de la RAE, con sus propios estatutos. Los incorporadores iniciales fueron, el colector de aduanas de Yloilo, Guillermo Gómez, el Abogado y Senador Claro M. Recto, el Senador Juan B. Alegre, el magnate Enrique Zóbel de Ayala, el Presidente de La Universidad de Filipinas, Rafael Palma, los Escritores Luis Calderón y Manuel Rávago y el catedrático Florentino Torres Araneta. La Academia Filipina adquirió personalidad jurídica ante las leyes de Filipinas y empezó a funcionar como una corporación que presentaba una memoria y cuentas anuales además de publicar regularmente un Boletín mensual adjunto a la Revista Excélsior. 1. In 1911, Macario ADRIATICO, writer and later political filipino, he became the first filipino for the Royal Spanish Language Academy Madrid.

2. In 1915, Filipino poet and essayist, Tirso de Irrureta Goyena was named as another Filipino corresponding SAR Madrid.
