Memorial of the Thayer name, from the Massachusetts colony of Weymouth and Braintree, embracing genealogical and biographical sketches of Richard and Thomas Thayer, and their descendants, from 1636 to 1874. – Bezaleel Thayer 1874 pp 22-23

Hulda and Jacob had 11 children - their descendants outnumber the descendants of all the other children of George and Katherine combined!
Their families had settled in Mendon, MA when King Philip's War broke out. Mendon itself was attacked by King Philip's warriors on 7/14/1675. Although there is little mention of the attack in the town's records, 4-5 townspeople were killed.
It was during this time that Hulda and Jacob married. "It will be noticed that it was consummated at the most dreary period of the terrible war between the Colonies and King Phillip, a few days previous to the burning of Mendon by the Indians, and the flight of the inhabitants therefrom." [Raymon Meyers Tingley, Some Ancestral Lines (Rutland, Vermont: The Tuttle Publishing Co., Inc., 1935), pg. 11 and Ellery Bicknell Crane Historic Homes and Institutions and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs of Worcester County Massachusetts With A History of Worcester Society of Antiquity, I-II (II reads "Vol. III" sic) (New York, New York: The Lewis Publishing Company, 1907), Vol I, pg. 253].
Since the town was 15 miles from the closest settlement and surrounded on all sides by Indian tribes, they moved to Braintree until the War was over. After all of the Mendon settlers had left, the Indians burned it to the ground.
When they returned to Mendon after the War, they lived on the family homestead which Jacob's father had willed to him.
Huldah Thayer was born on 16 Apr 1657 in Braintree, Mass.. She died WFT Est. 1696-1752. Parents: Ferdinando Thayer and Huldah Hayward.
She was married to Jacob Aldrich on 25 Jun 1675 in Medfield, Mass.. Children were:
Jacob Aldrich, Abel Aldrich, Seth Aldrich, Huldah Aldrich, Rachel Aldrich, Sarah Aldrich, David Aldrich, Peter Aldrich, John Aldrich, Moses Aldrich, Mercy Aldrich, Rachel Aldrich.

Married: Jacob Aldrich, 3 November 1675, Milford Worcester, MA
GEDCOM Note
Bezaleel Thayer shows the marriage of Hulda and Jacob to have taken place on 3 Nov 1675. Since the marriage was porportedly consummated a few days prior to the burning of Mendon by the Indians and the flight of the inhabitants, it is unlikely that the records survived.
