Mrs. Ida May Sheads, 61, 448 South Washington Street, wife of Claude A Sheads, a battlefield guide, died this morning at 4:45 in the Warner hospital where she had been admitted in a serious condition Saturday. Death was due to a complication of diseases and followed a long illness. Mrs. Sheads submitted to a major operation last fall and was confined to the hospital, for several months at that time. A daughter of Charles and Ellen Baker Shultz, Mrs. Sheads was born in Adams county and lived here all her life. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Herman E Lee, Gettysburg; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John Rhea, Gettysburg, and three brothers, Albert and Emmert Shultz, Cashtown, and William Shultz, Harrisburg. Funeral servicces Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Marsh Creek Church of the Brethren with Walter Keeney, Gettysburg, officiating.
