About Irma W Anger
"Irma W. Fabel was born on October 26, 1872 in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio with her family at the age of ten.(1882 or 83). She attended Mrs. Lupton's Private School of that city and completed her education in Paris, France. She was fluent in French and German (as well as English).
Irma travelled in Germany and there met Dr. Albert Anger an Agriculturist. They returned to the United States and were married in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday May 25, 1896. They went back to Germany shortly after the marriage. There were three children: Helen, John and Margaret who died in infancy.
The family returned to the United States in 1904 making their home in Amanda, Ohio until 1912 when they acquired a farm at 2385 Woodsdale Road, Trenton, Ohio which they named Angersdale Farm. The farmhouse was built in 1870 by H. P. Deuscher. The flood of 1913 rose to 5 feet up the first floor. The farm spaned 428 acres. Irma had a huge library filled with classical and modern books, all of which she claimed to have read - although she never seemed to have much free time.
Irma was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church and was the teacher of the CIC Sunday School Class for a number of years. She served years as President of the Ladies Aid Society and was an honorary member of the Missionary Society.
Irma died January 23, 1962" --From a family genealogical book “Irma" handwritten on cover (Genealogical material compiled by the descendants of August and Theresa Wilhelmina Good Fabel), Overstreet, Sam, Compiler, added by Jackie Wayne Roberts Jr.
