About Isaac Avery

Isaac Avery was baptized July 17, 1709, First Church of Norwich. He married 1731, Elizabeth Fox, daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Brintnell) Fox. She was born in 1709. March 6, 1755, Isaac Avery receipted for his wife's share of the estate of her father, Samuel Fox (New London Wills, G:100). Feb. 1, 1736/7, Hannah Avery deeded all the land that she had had of her honored father, Joshua Raymond, to her son, Isaac Avery (New London Deeds). Isaac Avery died April 3, 1777, at West Stafford, Conn. His widow died Oct. 27, 1803, at West Stafford. She was baptized after her marriage, June 29, 1732, at First Church of Norwich.
