From: The Geer Genealogy page 21
Isaac Geer was born in North Groton, 26 March 1681; died in 1745; married Martha Lee, daughter of Richard and Sarah Lee.
He is supposed to have remained at home until the early part of 1751, when he removed to the southern part of the paternal estate. He also purchased several adjoining tracts. The house built by him in the latter part of his life, and mentioned in his will, was standing in 1914 and occupied by a Mr. Clark, who bought it of Captain Nathaniel B. Geer. That he was a good business man is fully proved by the large estate he accumulated, though dying a young man when compared with his father, and while some of his children were minors.
