About Isaac Parish
Leaving Stonington, Conn., he went to Windham and bought land there, as recorded in several deeds, the earliest being dated 2 Aug. 1720. The History of Windham County says that Isaac Parish (probably this one) "kept a tavern in Windham before 1760," and that John Parish (? his son) "took out a tavern license in Windham in 1760." His estate was distributed 23 Jan. 1765.
an application for SOns of the Revolution names Issac Parish and his wife Margaret. Their WEDDING date is listed as 11/13/1721. This statement cast into doubt that Issac died in 1721 as another source lists many children (ancestry.com)
