About Isabella Elizabeth Hubbard/Whiteside
no children with Eusebius
Below is a bit of history on Isabella Chitwood. This is a work in progress 1/23/20. I just saw a video and toured this house and a 2-story that is right by it.
Janet Milburn
Isabella Elizabeth Whiteside is my 13th cousin five times removed.
Property description: On the edge of the bluffs a secret driveway leads to this quiet secluded place built in 1920, which was one of St. Louis' first speakeasies, built in 1920. This very private property was originally deeded to Isabella Chitwood before the Louisiana Purchase (1803).
Built prior to the opening of the Chain of Rocks waterworks (those little buildings in the river), the surrounding land was once owned by Dr. William Carr (the 1st mayor of St. Louis) and Amadee Valle (a Mo. legislator and close friend to Abraham Lincoln).
This property includes the 2-car oversize garage and insulated barn with concrete floor. Property is being sold as-is, where-is and seller will not do any repairs or inspections. This property is priced below assessed value and can be combined with the purchase of 11152 Lookaway Drive (right next to this one).
