Ivan Bernard Holtsclaw died November 11, 2000 at Chateau Living Center, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA.
Born June 26, 1920 in Greene Co., IN, he was the oldest son of Benjamin Wiley and Estella Esther Hardisty Holtsclaw.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII.
On December 20, 1942 he married Anita Elsie Ferguson.
He retired from New Orleans Public Service (RTA) and the Sewerage and Water Board.
He is survived by his wife Anita, one son Ivan Bernard, Jr., two brothers, Ernest Benjamin Holtsclaw and William Wesley Holtsclaw, both of Bloomfield; one sister, Viola G. Hecke of Ft. Wayne; three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sharon Ann Holtsclaw, and one brother Paul Mason Holtsclaw.
Funeral mass was held November 14, at All Faiths Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Orleans Parish, New Orleans, LA.
