Jacob was b. ca. 1723, immigrated in 1727 with parents from Holland. Jacob resided on a farm in what is now Derry Township, Dauphin County, PA, near the present Stauffers Mennonite Church, Bachmanville, PA (Hershey). He was one of the founders of the Stauffers Mennonite Congregation of which he & his wife were members. He had 9 children. (Daniel R.
