Jacoba Louisa Donovan

I dont know too much about my great grandmother. I have no history of her family.

She had 3 daughters, although she claimed that my grandmother was not hers, but from another woman who my great grandfather slept with, while living in Pilgrims Rest.

I do know that during the boer war she was a prisoner of war, and held at one of the Prison Camps just outside Witbank in South Africa.

After her husband died, she lived with her favourite daughter Maud, who never married.

After Maud died, while we cleaned out the house, we found that Maud had kept all her mother clothes and other belongings.
