Jacobus Demarest married Margritie Cosynse Haring, daughter of Capt. Cozine Jansen Haring and Marretje Gerrits Blauvelt, on 26 September 1719 at Dutch Reformed Church, Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey. Jacobus Demarest died on 24 March 1753 at Of, Schraalenburgh, Bergen County, New Jersey, at age 71. BS: LDS Church, Salt Lake City, Utah.
