Jacob Mansfield Estate record Filed 15 Feb 1870 Elijah Edington was the adminstrator. It list Mary Crow as one of his children also Walter Mansfield, David Mansfield , Riley Mansfield, Jane Hardesty,and Elizabeth Ferguson , William Mansfield
He fathered 21 children of which all are not accounted for. By Anna Maria he had 4 as listed, with posiblity of 3 others. The others by birth date in relation to birth dates of children of first marriage has been placed in the second marriage; but till we find out how to divide the children except's Nancy's; Which he had two children, so between 1st and 2nd lives he had 19 children and how many to contribute to each marriage is undeterimined at this point in time. By the 1850 census all but William and Riley if living were out and married and living on there own.
Also I have not done al,ost all the research presented on these people as recorded in this PAF and have not worked with this family since before 1990. and with putting this into PAF I am going to try and document what I have.
If there is miscellaneous Mansfield's that I can't connect I have in my notes I have placed in this PAF database.
Those I have accounted for 15 of them as follows:
1. Walter Jacob Mansfield-21 was born 22 Dec 1799. He died 1 Jan 1870.
Walter married (1-MRIN:20) Anna Maria-40.
They had the following children:
Walter also married (2-MRIN:21) Christina King-35. Christina was born about 1798 in Pennsylvania or Switzerland. She died before 5 May 1854.
They had the following children:
Walter also married (3-MRIN:16) Nancy "Nance" Jane Edington-9, daughter of Robert Edington-7 and Margaret Alice Hardesty-8 (MRIN:11), on 5 May 1854 in , Greene, Indiana. Nancy was born 3 Jan 1816 in , Coshocton, Ohio. She died 4 Aug 1905 in Buchanan, , Missouri.
They had the following children:

1. Pleasant Ridge/Kentucky Ridge Church Membership Regular Baptist, Organized 16 Nov. 1843. Church split at one time and a large portion of the records were cut out! A minister in Williams has the orginals, it is said. "Walter Mansfield bap. Feb. 11, 1876."

3. Mildred Uland, Gone But Not Forgotten An Anthology of Fact & Folklore, 1986, pg. 331. "Mansfield/Stultz - Jacob Mansfield was born in Germany and his wife, Christina, in Switzerland. Jacob came with his parents to Pennsylvania in 1776 and later came on to Indiana, settling near Robinson, Greene county, in 1849. Jacob Was the father of twenty-one children, RIley being the nineteenth in order of birth."
