Although in the family tree there are some people whom were baptised Jan Gerrit Bantjes and others whom were baptised Jan Gerritze Bantjes. Jan Gerritze is the original name from the Nederlands.

Jan Gerritze Bantjes & Dorothea Maria Bantjes (Born Swanepoel) got married in October 1892. They had fourteen children. The First two children Bennie and Jenny were halve brother & sister of the other twelve children.
