Jane LANGLEY was born c1764
She was convicted of feloniously stealing and was sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Lady Penrhyn"
Whilst she was in incarceration, she had a relationship with Philip SCRIVEN that resulted in a daughter Henrietta in 1787. Henrietta accompanied her mother on "Lady Penrhyn"
Jane and Henrietta were sent to Norfolk Island on 4/3/1790 on "Sirius"
She married Thomas CHIPP 15 November 1791 on Norfolk Island and they had 2 children on Norfolk Island and another 4 on the mainland. Jane and Thomas + 1 children returned to Port Jackson on "Daedalus"
Jane died February 1836 at Sydney
