Jane TYLER was born c1765 (note: there are some trees that have Jane as born 12/3/1773 and transported at age 13)

Jane was convicted of stealing and was sentenced to transportation for life. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 1790 on "Lady Juliana"

Jane was sent to Norfolk Island in August 1790

Jane married William DEMPSEY c1794 on Norfolk Island

In December 1807 Jane and William went to Tasmania on "Porpose"

In 1816 Jane and William adopted an aboriginal girl age 7 baptised as Mary DEMPSEY (child died 1826)

Jane died 22/5/1840 at New Norfolk, Van Diemand Land (Tasmania)
