Jaunietta Jean Hart, 82, of Switz City, passed away at 7:32 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born April 5, 1923 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Oral Ray and Edith Marie (Hash) Wilson.

She formerly worked at the Lighthouse Motel.

Survivors include: her husband of 42 years Joe C. Hart of Switz City; a son Roscoe "Sonny" Byers of Linton; two daughters, Donna Dicus of Linton and Mitzie Hart of Worthington; a step-son Joe Hart of Bloomfield; a brother Bill Wilson of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a niece Ginger Spice of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by a son Russell Lee Byers in 1964, a brother Oral Ray Wilson, Jr., and a sister Monzell Spice.

Funeral service will be conducted at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 8 p.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Terry Dowell officiating.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home
