Jacob served in the American Revolution as private under Capt. Thomas Parkinson's Washington County, Pennsylvania Militia, commanded by Lt. Co. Thos. Crooks and is permanently registered in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Son of Jacob Lash and Elizabeth Cobb and husband of Elizabeth Yost.
Buried at Farmington Cemetery
Inscription on gravestone:
"In Memory of Jacob Lash & His Wife Elizabeth Yost
Jacob Born 1752 & Died 1836
Elizabeth Born 1752 & Died 1837
Both are buried on the west side of the farm located at the northwest corner of the junction of county roads #18 & #20.
Jacob a Revolutionary War Patriot - State of Pennsylvania.
