I am looking for David Lash, who is from the family of Jacob Lash. Jacob Lash came to US in 1745 timeframe. First to Pennsylvania, then New Jersey. Some of the family then moved to the Ohio Valley. The David Lash that I am looking for came to Kentucky and lived in Union County, KY. I estimate that he was born in 1790. He is related to Isaac Lash that lived in Posey, Ind. Isaac was either a brother or father. Not sure. David Lash married Sarah Sibley in 1815 in Posey, Ind. I know of one son David Van Meter Lash born in 1828 in Kentucky. David V. M. Lash was my gr-gr-grandfather. He was married two times. First, to Amanda Alsop in 1852 and they had three children. After his mother and Amanda died he moved to Mississippi, where he married again to Permelia Wilson in about 1862. I need more information about David Lash, Sr. Who were his parents, when he was born, and when did he die.
