I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

It is my will and I do hereby order in the first place that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid off, and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. Item--I give and bequeath unto my son Hermannus Arnold, his heirs and assigns all my plantation and two tracts of land situated in Lebanon Township, Dauphin County, adjoining the several lands of Michael Steckbeck, Baltzer Shalley ec., John Light, Peter Burgner, and said Hermannus Arnold, containing together one hundred tracts of land containing one hundred and eighty five acres by the same more or less.

To have and to hold above mentioned tracts of land containing one hundred and eighty acres be the same more or less, together with all the buildings and improvements with appurtenances unto the said Hermannus Arnold, his heirs and assigns forever.

It is my further will, and I do hereby order that my said son Hermannus Arnold shall pay for all my plantation the sum of two thousand pounds, lawful money of Pennsylvania, that is to say eight hundred pounds one year after my decease, and then yearly, and every year the sum of one hundred pounds until the aforesaid sum is paid.

I further give unto my said wife as much of the household goods and furniture as she thinks is proper to take for use, and all or every article in or about my house, which she shall stand in need of for her use. I give unto my said wife one cow. I further give unto my said wife one third part of all my personal estate and my said wife shall have the one third part of all my house and buildings, and my said son, Hermannus shall deliver my said wife five gallons of good rye liquor, and one barrel of good cider yearly, and my said son Hermannus shall keep a cow winters and summers for my said wife, and she, my said wife shall have as many apples as she stands in need of yearly, and she shall have as much of all and everything growing in my garden as she thinks proper, and said Hermannus shall find and provide sufficient fire wood and cut the same for her at all times, when she shall order and direct fire wood for her stove, and meat, fifty pounds of good beef yearly, during her life, and as many eggs and hens at all times when she stands in need of same, and the stove in the house shall remain in my house for the sole use of my said wife during her life, and after her decease, I give said stove and pipe to my son Hermannus in the bargain with my said lands.
