On 1 June 1784 he "bought 100 acres for 158 (pounds) 15 s., of the estate of Anthony Waldorf, of which he was in actual possession." 291 Anthony Waldorf's will of 9 Dec 1777 (proved 30 Jan 1778) mentions Adam - "My son-in-law Adam Rinehart shall remain on the place where I live during the term of the lease."311
