Valentine settled in New Jersey. He was a tavern keeper, farmer and merchant in Germantown, New Jersey.
George Valentine later dropped the George and was known as Valentine.
The ship "Patience" arriving in Philadelphia Monday 17 September 1753 from Rotterdam lists a passenger Georg Valthain Reinhardt (over age 18) who takes the oath of allegiance. "[List 200 C] At Philadelphia, Monday, the 17 September, 1753. Present: Benamin Franklyn, Esquire.
