We have Archibald A*s will dated 21 Aug 1767 Letters of Testamentary granted 18 May 1775 to William A* & John A*, sons & the executors. Lieutenant Edward A* who was killed by Indians at Fort Granville, has often been confused with Edward A* thought to be the brother of Gen John A*.
