John's wife Sara Sinkler/Sykler/Sinclair was the daughter of John Sinclair b 1672 and Elizabeth Bean. His father John Bean b. 1672 and Sara's mother Elizabeth Bean were brother and sister so John was her first cousin.
notes from Ancestry.com That would make sense. I keep seeing the name Sinkler when i search the Bean family tree but I could never figure out what connection it had. Sarah Sinkler and John Bean II were the parents of John Bean III, my gggggg grandfather. John Bean II was the son of Edaward Bean who was the son of James Bean and Ann Coleman. James Bean was the son of John Bean I, who was a Scottish prisoner of war and eventually settled in New Hampshire. He appears to be the source of all Bean descendants in the U.S.
