If I am not mistaken,I believe that Mary on the Dan was married to a Francis Lawson, who was more than likely from Ireland. Around January 24th, 1734, Francis with sons John Lawson and William Lawson held licenses for land at the The Blunston Tract in PA. (Other license holders included Grahams and Boyd). He is later found in the Lunenburg tithes. Halifax County Pleas Book 2,will of John Boyd he was married to Margaret Lawson, daughter of Captain Francis Lawson that died before July 11,1755.
