About John Brockway
John Brockway, 10th child of Wolston Brockway and Hannah Briggs, was b. at Lyme, Conn., date not found; had an ear-mark for cattle recorded Feb. 12,1729/30. His father, in deeding his homestead to Richard Brockway on Mar. 13,1707/08, provided that Richard should pay $15 to John Brockway, on the death of their father. He was probably the son of his first wife, but it is possible that the second wife was his mother.
He married MARY HUNTLEY and children were: Bridget (1708), Wolston (1711), Mary (1713), Jane (1717/18), John (1721), Phebe (1724/25), and Naomi (1727).
