Mill River Church Cem. at Har]; served on privateer Merry Sheet carrying provisions from Boston MA to Machias in 1778 & later served in Rev War for 7 days {Aug & Sept 1777} [Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War, Vol IV, p 670], served for 2 days in Lt. John Bohanan's detachment of Col. Foster's Regt {20-21 Dec 1778}, as well as 12 days in Capt. Daniel Sullivan's Co. of the 6th Lincoln County Regt {27 Oct-7 Nov 1780}; lived at Milbridge [HAR 1790-1810], where he was granted settlers lot #30 [adjacent to his father's] in Township #5 [now Milbridge}4 June 1794 [Wash Co Deed 1:387]; m 177? HANNAHs FICKETT, b 1756; d at Milbridge 20 Aug 1811 ae. 55 [g.s. Mill River Church Cem.]; (Fickett #6); 12 children bat Harrington [Harrington Town Records, Picton Press]
