Son of John Henry, Sr., and Maria Barbara [Theiss (Tice)] Shuey, married twice; 1) Elizabeth Bender, about 1793, and 2) Barbara Gerberich Miller (her second marriage), 1796, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.


Lived near Bordner's store, Union Twp., Lebanon Co., then Hanover Twp., Dauphin Co. Military man. Married Barbara Gerberich, b. 1766, 1832. Married Elizabeth Bender, b. 1780. A commissioner of Lebanon Co. after formation of Lebanon Co in 1813. Help cause the constructon of the Courthouse in Lebanon along with Daniel Henning and Peter Gloninger. Buried Walmer's church, no marker.


Died: aged 55y 9m 6d
