John W. Larimer

John Larimer married and settled in Grass Valley, California, 1849, searching for gold, he owned and operated a quartz stamping mill and was quite successful. They were parents of a family. Burial was at the Masonic Cemetery, Grass Valley, Nevada Co., CA Located grave in Row 14 Plot 3. Includes other members of the family in the same plot. Only his surname is present. Plot map of the cemetery in my possession.

David died 27 Jul 1857 in Grass Valley, 1850 Census,Weaverville and Vicinity, El Dorado Co., CA, Roll M432_34, Pg 262: Item #3 John Larimer Age 21-Male-Occup Miner - Place of Birth Ohio.
