Owned two tracts Hispaniola (frequently writt en as HIGH SPANIOLA on the east side of the Bohemia river a nd on the north sidt of Long Creek which contained 900 acre s. And the Strand on the west side of the Pocomoke river. This tract was called Glasgow by Johns father. Margaret Mcknitt wife of James Alexander was half sister to John.
