Resided in Newport, was made a freeman in 1665. On Oct. 31, 1667, he with 47 others was granted 5000 acres of land in rhode Island and to be called East Greenwich. In 1680 he was taxed 13s. On Feb 28, 1688, he and his wife, Esther sold 31 acres of land to Geo. Mann for L123.
