He married 1st Jane Treble. Children unknown He married 2nd Elizabeth Ruth Allen 18 March 1690/91 at St John's Parish, Henrico County, Virgina the daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth Shippey Allen. WILL OF JOHN PUCKET, SR Date of Will 12 May 1716 Henrico County, Virginia
"I, John Puckett, Senr, of Bristol Parish in ye County of Henrico being weak of body but of a perfect sound mind and memory praised be Almighty therefore do this twelfth day of May 1716 make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following "Imprimis--I design my soul to God who gave it to me and my body to the earth from whence it was taken hoping it be wel______ through and by ye merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour at ye Gonarl resurrection my soul and body shall be united and rest _____ with my Maker and redeemer in glory, Amen. "Second, I bequeath to my four sons: John, Joseph, Timothy, and Abraham all my lands to be equally divided after my ________ ________ _______ ye about four and each to have his equal share to have, hold, possess, and enjoy each his full part to them and should -forever after the decease of my wife Elizabeth which now is. "I bequeath to my daughter Martha now ye wife of Richard Puckett one pewter dish and pewter plate. "I bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Puckett one pewter dish and one plate. "I bequeath to Ann one dish and plate. "I bequeath to my daughter Sarah one pewter dish and plate. "I bequeath to my daughter Judith one dish and plate. "I bequeath to ye child which my wife is now big with a feather bed and furniture. "The rest of my personal estate not bequeathed I now bequeath to my loving wife Elizabeth which now is making and ordaining her sole executrix of this my last will and testament.
