Mary Young Lamont's four sons changed their names. John, the oldest, took the name Sitlington He with his Youngest brother Andrew farmed and was in manufacturing of linen on the Larne river Antrim County, Ireland. They had moved to Ireland in year 1646. He took the surname of SITLINGTON after a river or a " Burn " on the Lamont Estates in Argyle, Scotland. Andrew took the name of YOUNG which was his mother's clan.[1]
