Son of David Stuart Sr. (1710 – 1767) and Margaret Jane Lynn Stuart (1710 – 1773). Married widow Agatha Lewis Frogg (1753 – 1836) on 18 Nov 1778. Parents of: Charles Augustus (Frogg) Stuart (1775 – ?) (adopted from her first marriage), Margaret Lynn Stuart (1777 – 1863), Jane Lewis Stuart (1780 – 1855), and Lewis Stuart (1784 – 1837). Pioneer settler of Greenbrier County WV.
