John Weynand

John was the eighth child of Hubert and Angelina Weynand of D'Hanis, Texas, was a blacksmith and well driller. His only wife was Mary Roberta 'Bertie' Lawrence.

"John Weynand - Funeral service for John Weynand, 86, will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday at Zizik-Kearns Funeral Home, followed by Requiem Mass offered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Rev. William R. Lamm. Interment will be in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery. A native of D'Hanis, Texas, he has been a resident of San Antonio for 36 years. He died Saturday. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Postert and Mrs. Theresa Wolff, both of D'Hanis."
