John Joseph Zakrzewski

Obituary: John J. Zakrzewski, 84, formerly of 731 E. Sanborn St., died at 8AM Sunday at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Arcadia, WI, where he lived since May 1971. He was a retired butcher at the Swift & Co. plant here. The son of Vincent and Frances Bonik Zakrzewski, he was born in Winona on January 22, 1887. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Edward, Winona, and John, Phoenix, AZ; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Einhorn, Rockford, IL, Mrs. Stanley (Marcella) Wieczorek and Mrs. Pauline Bellman, Winona; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 9:30AM Tuesday at the Borzyskowski Mortuary and at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. Donald Grubisch officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
